Over 90 years of experience building landmark cooling towers worldwide
Cooling Tower Expertise
Our cooling tower expertise dates back to 1931, beginning with the construction of a tower in the United Kingdom. Since 1965, our group has delivered every new cooling tower built in the UK. More recently, we completed a 180 m tower for the Belchatów Power Station in Poland and two 185 m towers for the Opole Power Station. Our engineering team has extensive experience in the construction of both dry and wet cooling towers, including the installation of internal cooling elements.
Advanced hydraulic climbing technology for safe and efficient tower construction
Specialized Access Systems
Beyond the structural design of the tower, specialist expertise is essential in the access system used during construction. We have developed a hydraulic climbing system that provides two full levels of internal and external walkways around the tower.
Refined over many years, this system enables our construction teams to complete one full 1.5 m lift every working day, supporting efficient shell wall concreting.
Today, this access solution remains one of only three such systems in use worldwide.
